Known as the land of
living skies, Saskatchewan also has waterparks, science centres,
healing spas, living museums, historic sites, art galleries,
natural oddities and cultural curiosities. Uncrowded and affordable,
these are the undiscovered gems you can brag about when you
get home.
Saskatchewan is the site of North America's oldest
bird sanctuary, established in 1887 at Last Mountain Lake. The
city of Estevan in southeast Saskatchewan is Canada's sunshine
capital, averaging 2,540 sunshine-filled hours each year! Saskatchewan
produces over 54% of the wheat grown in Canada, and is the only
province with entirely man-made boundaries.
