Indian Head Statue

 

  Indian Head is a beautiful, middle-sized prairie town nestled snugly in the flat prairie grainlands of south eastern Saskatchewan. The town is anchored against the mainline of the Canadian Pacific Railway at the junction of the Trans Canada Highway (#1) and #56 highway, just 70 km. (42 miles) east of Regina - less than an hour's drive.
  The statue was built in 1985, the total height is 18 feet, head height is 10 feet, base is 8 feet. It weights 3,500 pounds and is constructed of metal pipe, metal mesh and three coats of cement.
